Student Safety
Student safety is a first priority for CISD.  Please let your counselor or principal know if you have any concerns

Bullying can take many forms -- from name-calling to exclusion to physical assault.  In today's technological age, cyber-bullying is very prevalent.  We want to work with our students and our parents to make sure that all of our students feel safe at school.  We also encourage students and and parents to be aware of dating violence issues as well.  Below are some helpful links about bullying and dating violence.  Please don't hesitate to contact your school if you know of bullying that is taking place there.

Internet Safety
If you watch television, you are aware of the dangers that internet predators can pose for our children.  Please take time to visit with your child about what is appropriate to post on internet social networking sites such as Facebook, and what is not appropriate.  For helpful hints, visit the links below.

Drug and Alcohol Support Groups/Information
Although drug and alcohol usage has seen a slight decline among teenagers over the past few years, there is still a great deal of work yet to do in educating our children.  The links below have some important information for all families.
